Young Uzbek Weightlifters Win 4 Medals at World Championship
Uzbekistan's youth weightlifting team won 4 medals at the World Championship in Ismailia, Egypt.
Young Uzbek weightlifters have won 4 medals at the World Championship. The youth weightlifting World Championship in Ismailia, Egypt has come to an end.
On the final day of the competition, Omadilillo Olzimov, who participated in the heaviest weight category (+110 kg), won 2 bronze medals. Our compatriot took fourth place in the snatch exercise with 169 kg. Olzimov, who lifted 219 kg in the clean and jerk and 388 kg in total, won the bronze medal in these events.
Thus, our young weightlifters finished the World Championship with 1 silver and 3 bronze medals.
The Uzbekistan team participated in the World Championship and achieved good results.
