Supporting Uzbekistan with Passion
Members of the fan club supporting the Uzbekistan national team share their experience of cheering for the team during the World Cup.
Konnor, a resident of Atlanta, is originally from Germany and works as a data analyst. He also dedicates a lot of his time to football.
'My family is from Germany, so football has always been a part of our lives. I've been watching games, going to stadiums, and trying not to miss any matches since I can remember,' says Konnor.
Besides family traditions, what always drew him to football is undoubtedly its international nature.
'There are many popular sports, but football unites people all over the world. It doesn't matter which country you're from or who you are - everyone can be a part of this game. That's why I've always been interested in international tournaments, national championships, and national team games,' he explains.
