In particular, as a result of measures aimed at developing the academies of professional football clubs, the Neftchi children's football academy was established in 2025.

The academy, which has an area of over 4.5 hectares, is designed for more than 150 students. It has six large and small football fields, a physiotherapy department equipped with modern medical and rehabilitation equipment.

A covered football manez with artificial turf and a dome has been built at the academy at a cost of $1.1 million.
