Uzbekistan Super League Introduces Salary Caps for Players and Coaches
The Uzbekistan Football Association and Professional Football League have introduced salary caps for players and coaches in the Super League

The Uzbekistan Super League has introduced salary caps, with players limited to 27 million som and coaches to 10 million som per month. Under the new system, state-owned enterprises that sponsor Super League clubs will contribute their sponsorship funds to a single fund.
The Uzbekistan Football Association (UFA) will allocate 35 billion som to each top-tier team, with the first installment already transferred to the clubs.

A meeting was held between the UFA and Professional Football League (PFL) to discuss the distribution of the funds, with a clear statement that no individual can receive more than 27 million som per month from state funds. After taxes, players can earn a maximum of around 23 million som per month.

Additionally, the salary caps for other club employees have been established. For example, head coaches will earn less than 10 million som per month. This move is intended to encourage clubs to find additional sponsors.
