Brazilian national team and Santos striker Neymar may soon bid farewell to top-level football.
Reports suggest that the 34-year-old forward will almost certainly leave Santos at the end of the season, with Globo reporting that Neymar will see out his contract until December before either joining another club or retiring from professional football.
Neymar returned to his first club, Santos, at the beginning of last year, having previously played for Al-Hilal, PSG, and Barcelona.
At the 2026 World Cup, Neymar played two games for the Brazilian national team, scoring one goal.
Currently, Santos sits 15th in the Brazilian championship standings after 19 rounds.
