Metalurg player Komil Tojidinov shared his thoughts with the club's press service, having scored the opening goal for his team.
'First and foremost, I'm delighted with the win. The first game of the season is rarely easy, and we played away from home. Yaypan also tried to show their best against us, especially in the first half. When I equalized, the team put pressure on the opponent's defense, and I took advantage of the situation and scored. Of course, I'm very happy, but God willing, this is just the beginning. I have no intention of stopping at one goal. I want to contribute to the team's victories.'
We had a relatively short time to prepare for the season. In my opinion, we haven't assembled a bad team. Ilhom aka is one of the most skilled coaches in Uzbekistan, and this is another strong point of our team. During the break, the coaches' instructions changed our game, and we took control of the field.

We all believed in our ability to score and win. I think this is very important, given that our goal is to become champions in the league. Therefore, we will enter every match with the intention of winning.

I would also like to thank our fans who supported us at the stadium in Qo'qon. For a player, this is a pleasant situation. We will play the next rounds at our home stadium, and I think the atmosphere will be different. After all, big football is returning to Bekobod, and we will try to make our fans happy in the next matches as well.
