Uzbekistan Karate Team Dominates 'Uzbekistan Open' Tournament

The international 'Uzbekistan Open' karate tournament in the WKF style was held at the 'Olympic Village' in the capital of Uzbekistan. The tournament, with a prize fund of $10,400, featured 450 athletes from Uzbekistan, Kyrgyz Republic, Kazakhstan, Russia, and Tajikistan.

Our athletes won 34 gold, 40 silver, and 54 bronze medals in various age categories, securing first place in the overall team standings. The tournament provided an opportunity for the national team coaches to shape the main and reserve teams for the upcoming Aichi-Nagoya-2026 Summer Asian Games.
