Islom Ahmedov: We can show even better football based on the level of our players

Andijon head coach Islom Ahmedov was named the best coach of April by the Uzbek Professional Football League. He led Andijon to 3 wins and 1 draw in 4 Super League matches.

In an interview with the club's press service, Ahmedov said: "Thank you for the congratulations. Clearly, we didn't work for personal achievements. Everything was done for the benefit of our team and their victories. Thank God, our faces are now lit up. There is a lot of hard work behind this".

Ahmedov also spoke about Andijon's preparations for the group stage of the Uzbekistan Cup: "In fact, we gathered at the team's headquarters and started training. We are preparing for the Cup matches. We are moving towards high goals at the maximum level. We are preparing according to this criterion".

Ahmedov also emphasized: "Based on the level of our players, we can show even better football. We have such opportunities and we are working to implement them".
