Champions Lose Three Defenders in One Day

Italian champions Inter have announced through their official website that several defenders have left the club.

Among those who have departed are Italian defenders Matteo Darmian and Franchesko Acherbi, as well as Dutch defender Stefan de Vrey. All three players' contracts with Inter have expired, making them free agents.

Earlier, Inter had also bid farewell to Swiss goalkeeper Yann Sommer.

Last season, Inter finished 11 points ahead of their closest rivals to claim the Serie A title. The Nerazzurri also won the Italian Cup.
