International Chess Tournament Dedicated to Uzbekistan's First Grandmaster Georgiy Agzamov

The 19th international chess tournament in memory of Georgiy Agzamov, Uzbekistan's first grandmaster, will be held from March 16 to 27. The tournament will feature experienced chess players from Uzbekistan, as well as guests from foreign countries.

The tournament is organized at the initiative of the Uzbekistan Chess Federation. The winners will be determined based on the results of the games played between the participants.

Georgiy Agzamov holds a special place in Uzbekistan's chess history. He is considered the first chess player in Uzbekistan to have received the title of grandmaster.
