In an interview with TSN journalist Luk Wileman, Marsh did not hide his respect for the Uzbekistan national team.

"In my opinion, Uzbekistan will be a good opponent for us", - said the Canadian coach.

According to the expert, this match will be an important test for the Canadian team before the World Cup.

Also, the match against Uzbekistan will be a special test for Canadian goalkeepers Maxime Crepeau and Dayne St. Clair. So far, neither of them has been able to secure the position of the main goalkeeper. Therefore, the coach plans to test both goalkeepers during the match.

According to Marsh, the goalkeepers will share the game equally and a pre-planned substitution will be made at half-time.

Marsh also emphasized his hopes for the support of the Edmonton fans.

"We are looking forward to seeing the fans in Edmonton. I think the stadium will be full", - said Marsh.

After the match against Uzbekistan, the Canadian national team will play their final friendly match against the Republic of Ireland before the World Cup, and then start their participation in the tournament.
