Uzbekistan's Female Boxers Dominate Asian Championship
The Uzbekistan women's national boxing team topped the overall standings at the 2026 Asian Championships for boxers aged 19 and 23.

In the U-23 category, the Uzbekistan national team emerged as the overall leader. Kazakhstan took second place, while India secured third. The medal distribution was as follows:
1. Uzbekistan — 6-1-2 (9 medals); 2. Kazakhstan — 3-3-2 (8); 3. India — 1-4-4 (9); 4. Japan — 0-1-2 (3); 5. Mongolia — 0-1-0 (1); 6. South Korea — 0-0-3 (3); 7. Indonesia — 0-0-2 (2); 8. Kyrgyzstan — 0-0-1 (1); 8. Vietnam — 0-0-1 (1).

The top three teams remained unchanged in the U-19 category, with Uzbekistan taking first place, Kazakhstan second, and India third. The medal distribution for this age group was:
1. Uzbekistan — 4-2-0 (6); 2. Kazakhstan — 3-0-3 (6); 3. India — 2-6-0 (8); 4. Indonesia — 1-1-0 (2); 5. Taiwan — 0-1-3 (4); 6. Japan — 0-0-4 (4); 6. Vietnam — 0-0-4 (4); 8.
