Aston Villa in Talks to Sign Chelsea Striker

Aston Villa have reportedly begun negotiations with Chelsea over the transfer of striker Nicolas Jackson.

According to insider Nicolò Schira, Villa manager Unai Emery is a long-time admirer of the player, having worked with him at Villarreal, and is keen to bring him to the club. However, Jackson's wages are considered to be high, and the transfer fee demanded by Chelsea is deemed to be excessive.

Nicolas Jackson has been representing Chelsea since the summer of 2023. He has made 81 appearances for the team, scoring 30 goals and providing 12 assists. The player's current contract with the club runs until 2033, and his market value is estimated to be around €40 million.
