What do EFL Cup winners receive?
EFL Cup winners qualify for the Conference League and receive £100,000 and at least €925,000 in prize money.
A major prize for EFL Cup winners is qualification for European competition next season. The winners of the 2025-26 Carabao Cup will qualify for the Conference League.
Previously, winning the EFL Cup earned a place in the Europa League, but since the launch of the Conference League, only the top Premier League team and FA Cup winners now qualify for the Europa League.
EFL Cup winners also receive a prize money of £100,000, as well as a minimum of €925,000 (£797,400) for participating in the Conference League.
It's worth noting that in recent years, EFL Cup winners have often secured European spots through strong Premier League finishes.
