Vinicius Junior Set to Extend Contract with Real Madrid

Real Madrid winger Vinicius Junior has reached a principal agreement with the club to sign a new long-term contract. The two parties only need to finalize the details.

According to Sky Sports journalist Florian Plettenberg, the news was announced on his social media page.

Sources indicate that even after Vinicius signs the contract extension, teammate Kylian Mbappe will still be the highest-paid player at the club.

Previously, reports suggested that Vinicius earns €25 million per year under his current contract, while Mbappe earns €32 million. The Brazilian star allegedly wants to be the highest-paid player at the club.

Vinicius' current contract is set to expire at the end of 2027.
