When Tuhel arrived as England boss in October 2024, everyone knew it was a high-stakes job. The goal was clear - to lead the team to victory in the 2026 World Cup - and with that, the German expert accepted he was just a 'gun for hire'.
His 18-month contract, which began on January 1, 2025, ensured that. Tuhel called it a chance to focus on himself. He said he simplified the role. "It's a bit of a step into the unknown for me," he said. Tuhel loves being on the training pitch with his players, understanding their tactics. Does he get bored with no games for long stretches?
