Zak Brown: Compression Ratio Controversy 'Normal Politics' for F1

McLaren F1 CEO Zak Brown has spoken out about the ongoing dispute over Mercedes' power unit compression ratio, labelling it as 'normal politics' for F1.

The compression ratio of the V6 combustion engines, which measures how much the air-fuel mixture can be compressed inside the cylinder, was reduced to 16:1 for this generation of power units - partly to make engine construction more accessible to a wider range of manufacturers.
