Spanish club Almeriya's bid for Krasnodar's Congolese forward Brayan Sipenga has been turned down by the Russian Premier League team.
This was reported by journalist Kristian Vakero on social media.
According to sources, Almeriya offered 12 million euros for the 20-year-old player, but this amount did not satisfy the Russian club.
It is noted that several other clubs are also interested in Sipenga, and Almeriya wants to receive the 40 million euros specified in the player's contract as a transfer fee.
Sipenga had recently joined Almeriya as a free agent.
According to Kristian Vakero, the player may even leave the team without playing a single official match, as he has already shown his potential at the 2026 World Cup.
Sipenga played two matches for the Democratic Republic of Congo national team, including 72 minutes against Uzbekistan, and scored against England in the playoffs.
