Scotland's cricket team defeated Italy by 73 runs in the World Cup. Michael Leask and George Munsey were instrumental in Scotland's victory.

Munsey scored 84 runs to guide his team to 207-4, while Leask smashed 22 runs off the final five balls. Leask then took to the field and dismissed Italy's opening batsman, Justin Mosca, first ball.

Italy fought back with a 73-run partnership between brothers Ben and Harry Manenti, but once they were dismissed, Scotland's bowlers took control, restricting Italy to 134-9 in 16.4 overs.

Scotland captain Wayne Madsen missed the game due to a shoulder injury. Leask finished with 4-17, while Mark Watt chipped in with 2-24. Munsey took four catches.

Scotland's next game is against England on Saturday, while Italy face Nepal on Thursday.
