Shensny Names Messi as the Most Difficult Opponent

Barcelona goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny has named Lionel Messi as the most difficult striker he has faced in his career.

According to the Polish goalkeeper, Messi is the player who has caused him the most concern.

"The most difficult striker I've faced is Lionel Messi. Maybe there are other strikers who have scored more goals against me, because he has only scored three against me. But the only player I've been afraid of is him. He's an extremely dangerous player," said Szczesny.

The 36-year-old goalkeeper has been playing for Barcelona since 2024.

This season, he has played in 10 matches in all competitions, conceding 17 goals. He has not managed to keep a clean sheet in any of the matches.
