Real Madrid is considering Lionel Scaloni as a potential candidate for the club's head coaching position. According to El Desmarque, the club is discussing Scaloni, along with Mauricio Pochettino, Zinedine Zidane, Jose Mourinho, Jurgen Klopp, and Didier Deschamps, as a possible replacement.
Scaloni's current contract with the Argentine national team is set to expire at the end of the year, but he is in talks with the Argentine Football Federation to extend his deal. While he wants to stay with the national team, he is also open to considering other offers.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid has not yet identified a clear candidate to replace current coach Alvaro Arbeloa. Pochettino and Deschamps have been discussed, while Klopp and Zidane are considered less likely due to their high valuation.

Notably, Real Madrid recently lost to Bayern Munich (3:4, with the first leg ending 1:2) and was eliminated from the Champions League. In La Liga, the club is currently in second place, trailing leaders Barcelona by 9 points.
