Qatar's beIN Sports Wins Media Rights for LA 2028

Qatar, with infrastructure left over from the 2022 World Cup, vies with Ahmedabad, India to host the Olympics

Qatar's bid to host the 2036 Olympic Games has been dealt a significant blow. The state-owned beIN Sports has acquired the media rights for the LA 2028 Games.

According to reports, beIN Sports has secured the rights to broadcast the LA 2028 Olympics in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. The agreement was signed by International Olympic Committee President Kirsty Coventry and beIN Sports Chairman Nasser al-Khelaifi during the Winter Games in Milan Cortina.
