Pisa and Verona Relegated from Serie A

Following the 35th round of the Italian Serie A, Pisa and Verona have been relegated from the top division. Pisa lost 1-2 to Lecce at home, missing the chance to move up to 17th place, which means the team will play in Serie B next season. Note that Pisa returned to Serie A for the first time since the 1990/91 season, but their stay was short-lived.

Lecce's win also had a negative impact on Verona, as the team lost the chance to stay in the league standings. Verona has been participating in Serie A since 2019.

For reference, at the end of each season, the last three teams in the Serie A standings are relegated to the lower league.
