Pat Symonds, Formula 1's chief engineering advisor, has come to the defence of Sergio Perez, saying the Mexican driver has been unfairly saddled with a bad reputation.
Pat Symonds, the American chief engineering advisor in Formula 1, has defended Sergio Perez, stating that the Mexican driver has recently been given a bad reputation.
The American team will join the F1 grid in 2026 as the 11th team. They will combine forces with experienced drivers Valtteri Bottas (from Mercedes) and Sergio Perez (from Red Bull).
