Pat Cummins: Australia Don't Look Too Far Ahead

Australia captain Pat Cummins will miss the T20 World Cup due to injury. He needs four more weeks to recover.

Cummins has opted to rest to prevent aggravating the injury. He is also receiving support from experienced medical staff and coaches to aid his recovery.

The Australian team will face the T20 World Cup without three fast bowlers - Mitchell Starc, Josh Hazlewood, and Pat Cummins. They will be replaced by young players - Xavier Bartlett, Ben Dwarshuis, and Nathan Ellis.

Cummins, speaking about the team's current state, said, "We have gained experience as a team and we have confidence from previous years, even if we are not in great form at the moment."

Australia will play against Ireland, Zimbabwe, Sri Lanka, and Oman in the T20 World Cup. If they win these matches, they will qualify for the Super 8 stage.
