Pakistan Agrees to Play India in T20 World Cup

Pakistan cricket team is set to play against India in the T20 World Cup on Sunday, reversing their earlier decision to boycott the match.

Pakistan's government had decided to boycott the match, but after negotiations between the ICC, Pakistan Cricket Board, and Bangladesh Cricket Board in Lahore, the decision was changed.

The negotiations resulted in Bangladesh not being criticized for its withdrawal from the tournament and will get the chance to host an ICC event in the future.

In a statement, Pakistan's government said: "The decision was made in the spirit of cricket and to support the continuation of the sport globally."

The ICC stated: "All members have agreed to fulfill their obligations to participate in ICC events and ensure the successful completion of the ongoing T20 World Cup."

Bangladesh Cricket Board president Aminul Islam considered the match as "beneficial for the entire cricket ecosystem."
