Norway to File Complaint Against Trump

The Norwegian Football Association is preparing to file a formal complaint with FIFA's ethics committee over US President Donald Trump's interference in the organization's affairs.

This was reported by The Times journalist Martin Ziegler.

The situation is related to the case of US team striker Florian Balogun, who was sent off in the 1/16 final match against Bosnia and Herzegovina (2:0). He was later given a one-year probationary suspension, which was subsequently lifted, allowing him to play in the 1/8 final match against Belgium (1:4).

Afterwards, Donald Trump openly admitted to personally intervening in the process.

According to information disseminated by various media outlets, US President Trump allegedly convinced FIFA President Gianni Infantino to overturn Balogun's suspension during a conversation.
