According to journalist Miguel Serrano from The Touchline, the Portuguese coach has been in talks with three Real Madrid players in recent days.
Sources indicate that Mourinho has been in communication with Thibaut Courtois, Kylian Mbappe, and Vinicius Junior.
The 63-year-old coach is currently in charge of Benfica, with the Lisbon club set to play their final game of the season against Estoril on May 16. The team is currently third in the Primeira Liga standings.
Mourinho previously managed Real Madrid from 2010 to 2013, leading the team to the Spanish championship title in 2012.
