Merino Out for Four Months, Misses Finalissima

Spain midfielder Mikel Merino will be out of action for four months due to an injury sustained during a match against Osasuna.

Merino's return to team training is expected to take longer than anticipated, and he will not be able to help his team for an extended period. Real Sociedad coach Imanol Alguacil provided an update on Merino's expected return.

"I can't give an exact timeline for Merino's return, but he will be out for up to four months. His comeback will be a gradual process. He is not yet participating in team training and will need four months to recover, which means he will miss the Finalissima," Alguacil said.
