Lindsey Vonn: No regrets after Olympics injury
American Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn says she has no regrets after suffering an injury during her fifth and final Olympics, which will require multiple surgeries.

American skier Lindsey Vonn says she has no regrets after suffering a devastating injury during her fifth and final Olympics. She broke her leg during the downhill event.
The 41-year-old Vonn fell during a competition in Cortina, Italy on Sunday, snapping her leg in two. She smashed into a gate at over 40mph and let out a blood-curdling scream as she hit the ground.
Vonn is a 2010 Olympic champion and her appearance in these Games was widely praised, although some questioned her decision to compete given her injury history.
On Instagram, Vonn wrote that she had no regrets, saying her dream was to be 'brave and seize the opportunity'.
American skier Keely Cashman defended Vonn's actions, saying she had been travelling at 70mph when she hit the gate, which had twisted her body.
Italian skier Federica Brignone also backed Vonn, saying it was her body and her decision, and that others had no right to comment.
