Luka Modric Decides to End His Career
AC Milan midfielder Luka Modric has decided to end his career, despite having the option to extend his contract with the club.

AC Milan midfielder Luka Modric may bid farewell to professional football in the coming months. The Croatian national team star's contract with the Rossoneri is nearing its end, with the option to extend it for another year, a decision that rests with the player himself. However, according to insider Nicolo Sera, the 40-year-old has no intention of continuing his career and plans to retire from top-level sports after the World Cup.

The World Cup will take place from June 11 to July 19 in stadiums across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. The Croatian national team will face England, Panama, and Ghana in the group stage.
Earlier, reports had emerged in the media that Modric had decided to leave Milan, with the club's failure to qualify for the Champions League being the main reason.
