After the match, Curran said they were relieved to have secured two points and praised his team's confidence, acknowledging that a loss would have left their dressing room in a poor mood.

He added that his experience in numerous T20 cricket matches had taught him the importance of winning close games, which he believes will give the team a significant boost.

Curran also warned against underestimating Nepal, saying: 'We should never write off teams. They're playing really well.'
