Seattle Seahawks offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak has confirmed he will become the new head coach of the Las Vegas Raiders following their Super Bowl 60 victory over the New England Patriots. Kubiak, 38, will take over as head coach of the Raiders next season.

Klint Kubiak

Kubiak told NFL Network: 'Yeah, I'm going to Las Vegas. I'm super excited. Hell yeah, I'm going.'

Kubiak's father, former Denver Broncos head coach Gary Kubiak, also won a Super Bowl, taking the Broncos to victory in Super Bowl 50. Klint Kubiak spent one season as Seattle Seahawks' offensive coordinator, overseeing the team's third-ranked offense.

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold praised Kubiak, saying: 'Klint is a great guy and a smart guy. He's going to do great things in Las Vegas.'

The Raiders finished the previous season with a 3-14 record and now hold the number one pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.

Super Bowl

The Las Vegas Raiders have not won a Super Bowl since 2002 and have only made the playoffs twice in the last 20 years.

Raiders owner Mark Davis has been searching for a new head coach and general manager after the team's disappointing season, with Tom Brady and Jon Spytek also considered for the role.
