Husanov Reveals What He Discussed with Ronaldo

Abduqodir Husanov, Uzbekistan national team and Manchester City defender, revealed what he discussed with Cristiano Ronaldo during a World Cup group stage match.

The Uzbek journalist posted excerpts from the meeting in Houston on his Instagram page, revealing details of the conversation between the two players on the field. This episode was previously widely covered in the world media, but it was not clear what the players were discussing.

We talked a lot during the game, mainly about the situation on the field. For example, after our goal was disallowed, we had a bit of a dispute.

Ronaldo said that a foul had been committed in that episode, and I emphasized that Abbos is not a rough player. Our conversation was always warm and friendly, - Husanov said, as quoted by the journalist.

Recall that on June 23, in the second round match of the World Cup group stage in Houston, the Portuguese national team defeated the debutant Uzbekistan with a score of 5:0.
