Fabio Cannavaro: My Main Goal in Joining the National Team Was to Win the Asian Cup

Fabio Cannavaro responded to this question as follows:

"We don't always get lucky. We've seen that we've been drawn into tough groups in both the World Cup and the Asian Cup. However, being in the same group as Jordan is a good thing and it will be interesting. If luck goes our way again, we might even face Japan in the next round.

Of course, the Asian Cup is a different competition and it's possible for us to win it. My main goal in joining the national team was to win the Asian Cup, and we will strive to achieve victory in that tournament," said Cannavaro.
