Dyche dismisses job speculation

Nottingham Forest manager Sean Dyche has denied speculation about his job security amid concerns about the club's relegation battle.

Dyche was nominated for the Premier League's Manager of the Month award earlier this month. His team, Forest, had gone four games unbeaten in the Premier League, but suffered a 3-1 defeat to Leeds United on Friday.

Club owner Evangelos Marinakis has sacked two managers this season, but Dyche played down speculation about his own future.

"I'm always in touch with the club's owners," Dyche said. "The owner is aware of the situation and I've told him that there are no problems on my part. We've experienced some difficulties, but..."

Dyche added: "One game doesn't define a manager's future. We need to be realistic with the club's owner."

Dyche's team has had a turbulent season, but he is not worried about losing his job.
