Chloe Kim misses out on third Olympic gold as South Korea's Choi Gaon takes top spot
A major upset occurred in the Snow Park event at Livigno on Thursday evening, as Chloe Kim's hopes of a third Olympic title were dashed.
The American star made a strong start, scoring 88.00 in the first run, but South Korean athlete Choi Gaon produced a daring performance in the third run to score 90.25 and set a new Olympic record. Japanese rider Mitsuki Ono claimed the bronze medal.
