Chelsea's new head coach Liam Rosenior has admitted to being criticised on social media since his appointment. The 41-year-old coach revealed that the backlash is affecting his family, including his teenage children.

Rosenior was dubbed 'LinkedIn Liam' following his appointment, with negative comments made about his appearance and coaching experience. He stated that he is prepared for the criticism and will not let it affect him.

'I have teenage children who are on social media. It's affecting them, my family and even my parents. But I knew this would happen when I took the job. It's normal,' Rosenior said.

He added that he is trying to stay focused on his job and not let the criticism get to him. 'If you listen to that sort of thing, you shouldn't be doing this job. I love it and over time, people will start to judge me on my work on the pitch,' he said.

Rosenior spoke about his previous club experiences and coaching style. He discussed his individuality and approach to the game.

He also provided updates on Reece James' injury, stating that he may feature against Leeds, and Andrey Santos, who has recovered from his injury.
