American Olympic champion Breezy Johnson didn't quite make it to the finish line in the women's super-G competition, but she left with something more valuable than a medal: a diamond ring.

Johnson, who won gold in the downhill event on Sunday, participated in the super-G but clipped a gate with a pole, tumbling into the safety barrier. However, she received a surprise consolation: her boyfriend, Connor Watkins, proposed to her at the finish line. Surrounded by teammates from the US Ski Team, Johnson said "yes!" and the two shared an embrace.
