Morocco national team forward Brahim Diaz has shared his thoughts ahead of the 2026 World Cup quarterfinal match against France.
"I always take responsibility on the field, I don't feel pressure. Every player participates in such games, and I'm ready for it. I believe in my abilities before the upcoming match and will give my all on the field with the team."
"My teammates are helping me a lot, as we are a very cohesive team. One of the main favorites of the tournament is in front of us, but we are confident, as we can compete with France and are also contenders for the title. We want to win tomorrow. We will go out onto the field and show everything we are capable of," Diaz said, according to FIFA's official website.
The 2026 World Cup is being held from June 11 to July 19 in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. The current world champion is the Argentina national team, who defeated France 4:2 in a penalty shootout after a 3:3 draw in the 2022 final in Qatar.
