The 18-year-old player has missed the last two games after suffering a muscle injury at the beginning of the month. According to Diario AS, he has not yet fully recovered.
As a result, Bernal may either play under the influence of pain-relieving medication or miss the game altogether. Head coach Hans-Dieter Flick is in favor of not risking the player's health and does not want to rush his return.
A final decision will be made on Monday.
Recall that in the first leg, Barcelona lost 0-2 to Atletico at home. The return leg is scheduled for Tuesday, April 14.
