Ben Ogden wins silver medal in men's sprint classic cross-country skiing at Milan Winter Olympics, ending 50-year medal drought for US men.

Ben Ogden wins silver medal: 'My needles are waiting'

American Ben Ogden, 25, won the silver medal in men's sprint classic cross-country skiing at the Milan Cortina Olympics. This victory ended a 50-year medal drought for US men in cross-country skiing.

Ogden finished with a time of 3:40.61, behind Norwegian Johannes Høsflot Klæbo who took gold with a time of 3:39.74. Klæbo's compatriot Oskar Opstad Vike won bronze.

Ogden doesn't consider his success a mystery, and joked about his hobby of knitting in his free time, saying 'My needles are waiting'.
