Barcelona Ready to Increase Offer for Alvarez

Barcelona have not abandoned their plan to sign striker Julian Alvarez in the summer transfer window. According to a report by The Touchline, citing journalist Santi Ovalle, the Catalans are prepared to increase their offer for the player to up to €130 million.

Meanwhile, sources close to Atletico Madrid claim that the club's management do not want to negotiate with Barcelona over Alvarez.

Previously, it was reported that Barcelona had offered €100 million for the 26-year-old Argentine striker. Reports suggest that Alvarez himself wants to join the Catalan club, but Atletico Madrid are taking a firm stance and have no intention of selling the forward to their rivals.
