Atletico Ready to Sell Alvarez, But Not to Barcelona

Atletico are willing to consider offers for the transfer of their striker Julian Alvarez. According to journalist Matteo Moretto, the club's management is open to selling the player to a team outside of the Spanish league, with Arsenal being one of the interested clubs.

Meanwhile, Alvarez's own priority remains a move to Barcelona. It is expected that the Catalan club will make another attempt to sign the player after the World Cup.

As a reminder, Julian Alvarez joined Atletico from Manchester City in 2024 for 75 million euros. His current contract runs until June 30, 2030.
