Aston Martin Unveils New Car: AMR26

Aston Martin has unveiled their 2026 car, the AMR26, which was showcased in Saudi Arabia. Team technical director Adrian Newey admitted that their late development may cause issues at the start of the season.

Newey stated that their new car looks 'completely different' from their competitors at first glance. He added that they are struggling with 'CFD and overall schemes and mechanical schemes' due to their late development.

The Aston Martin AMR26 made its first appearance on track with a 'racing green' livery, differing from their previous cars. The car's design has been described as 'extreme' and 'spectacular' by some competitors.

Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll will drive the new car. Alonso said that the team needs time to increase their chances, adding that they will start 'running before walking'.

Lance Stroll stated that the team won't be ready to 'win in Melbourne', focusing on their development pace and bringing updates.
