Legendary Formula 1 Driver Falls Victim to Armed Robbery

Four-time Formula 1 world champion Alain Prost and his family were victims of an armed robbery at their home on the shores of Lake Geneva, according to Blick.

According to sources, on Tuesday morning at around 8:30 am local time, masked individuals entered the house, threatened with violence, and forced one of Prost's sons to open the family safe. The Frenchman suffered minor injuries. It is believed that the attackers' target was a collection of valuable watches.

It is reported that the attackers are still at large, and the police have not yet found any leads to catch the perpetrators. It is suspected that they may have crossed the border into France, and the French authorities are involved in the case.

At the same time, the prosecutor's office has not confirmed or denied that the affected family is the Prost family, but a criminal case has been opened.

In 2025 alone, 18 similar cases were recorded in the Geneva region - organized groups carried out armed attacks with the aim of stealing valuable watches.
