The 27-year-old White was traded to the 49ers in 2025 and played in 11 games last season, including playoff games.
In his American football career, he has played in 47 games, starting 20 times, and has recorded 100 tackles, 7.5 sacks, nine defended passes, and two forced fumbles during his time with the 49ers and Patriots.
He is the second 49ers player to be shot in the past 18 months, following teammate Ricky Pearsall, who was injured in an attempted robbery.
